How does counseling work?
Counseling is a collaborative relationship between a client and a counselor that is intended to facilitate positive personal change. This is done through individual and/ or group sessions, where the focus is on the client as an individual and the changes needing to occur for their desired results. A client can expect to participate in open dialogue, various exercises aimed at increasing awareness/ knowledge and to receive feedback.
