How is my privacy protected?

Confidentiality is always respected. You are also protected by law under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) which contains a privacy rule that creates national standards to protect individuals’ medical records and personal health information. What is Vivitrol and how does it work?

What happens during my first appointment?

During your first appointment at On Demand Counseling, you will fill out basic information about your individual health needs and consult with our licensed medical staff, including doctors and counselors. An assessment will be conducted during this visit, as well as an individual protocol for treatment. Please allow a few hours of your day for your first appointment with On Demand Counseling. We’re here to get you back on track.

How does counseling work?

Counseling is a collaborative relationship between a client and a counselor that is intended to facilitate positive personal change. This is done through individual and/ or group sessions, where the focus is on the client as an individual and the changes needing to occur for their desired results. A client can expect to participate in open dialogue, various exercises aimed at increasing awareness/ knowledge and to receive feedback.

What happens when I call?

Tell us about yourself. Let us know you’re ready for change. After answering a few questions, we will verify your insurance coverage and find out what treatments are available to you. We will set up your first appointment and let you know what to expect – Being your journey toward recovery.

Do you take insurance?

Yes, we accept all Ohio Medicaid plans, most private insurances and self-pay.

When are counselors available?

Counselors are on-site and available throughout normal operation hours.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Appointments are scheduled over the phone. Walk-ins are also welcome. Please see more information about walk-in appointments and contact us with any questions.
